5th Grade Report Card

Oh my gosh! I can't believe how good my report card is! 3 A's, 2 B's. I got an A in Math. Have I told you that I actually sorta like Math now? Mom says it certainly shows. Mom and Ster were so proud of me. And you know what? I'm pretty proud of myself.

I got my first report card for the 5th grade today. It was all A's and B's!

IHOP

Mom and I went to IHOP for dinner. She calls it a "date night" with me. I don't really care, I just like having breakfast for dinner. I was bored so I colored my cup green.

The Drag Race

As I walked outside next to the front gates, I heard the pro-stocks starting and going down the dragway. Everybody pushing and shoving and waiting to hear the cars go down then the gate opened. Right away we got my head sets for the nitros to go down the dragway. Once we got to our seats we sat down, heard the pro-stocks start. 

We heard the burnouts and everybody was saying that that is not what they were used to. Well everybody except for me. I new they wouldn't sound as loud as the nitros, but they still are pretty loud. I wasn't that mad because I new what they sounded like. The car itself really isn't that loud but the rev limiter is. 

After all it really wasn't that bad because you get used to the cars starting and going. We were there the whole time and well it was fun. In the end we went to the Traxxas truck and bought a remote control Traxxas that goes 30 mph. When we loaded up our stuff we left and had to sit in the car for an hour. Everything there was fun. I hope I get to go again someday. 

 

Today we headed to New York City. I've never been there so I was kinda excited. We took a bus and we had to go over this long bridge that made Mommy nervous. I saw Times Square and went in M & M's World where I got my "color" read. I am an aqua whatever that means. We also stopped in Hershey'sand then walked forever trying to find some bookstore. We ate at Chevy's and then got a bus back to Sam's. We hung out for a while. Sam and I sat in this big chair and watched Spongebob. Finally we drove back to the hotel.

A Little Bit About Me

Chad, Mommy and I volunteered today at the Children's Museum for mommy's work. I helped out in the art room for a little while and then got bored. So I went to another area and built a tower out of legos. It was awesome.

At The Beach!

Daddy and I are at the beach and I am so excited! I can't wait to go swimming and I can't wait to build sandcastles and dig in the sand.

Mommy and Sam will be coming down on Tuesday. Oh man, we're gonna have so much fun!

Adventure Landing

School is out and since Sam's moved Chad stayed with me today. We went to Adventure Landing. We played some putt putt golf and then some video games. Here's what I got for all my tickets.

4th Grade Field Day

My mom and dad came to help out with Field Day this morning. They were at the parachute popcorn station. I didn't think it would be better than water spray tag, but it was. My mom was telling us to shake the parachute and then she'd tell us to take it up over our heads and then pull it down quickly. The balls would shoot so high! And my dad helped shake the parachute. It was so cool.

This is Ben's boat. He brought it to our house so daddy can wash and wax it. I helped dadday last year and I'm going to help again this year. I sure wish this was our boat.

I Passed!

Daddy and I studied hard. I went to bed early and I passed the End of Grade tests. Mom said we'd celebrate with a dinner and going to Staples so I can get some stuff.

I went with mom to work Altar Boyz. This time I got to write the seat numbers on the programs!

We Got A New Dog!

Mom and I stopped by the animal shelter to kill some time while my sister's flight was delayed. There were a couple of dogs that were my favorite, but I really liked Ned. Here's me and Ned playing outside at the shelter.


I'm kind of surprised that Mom liked him too. And I knew that Ster would love him. So we adopted him. I didn't like the name Ned, so I changed it to Commander. Mom liked the name too. Here's me and Commander. I love him!

A Day with Mommy

I was out of school and mommy didn't have to go to work, so we spend the day together.

We had breakfast at iHop.

Then we hung out in Barnes and Noble. I played with the legos while mommy looked at books.

Since I was good, mommy let me pick out a book. After perusing several interesting ones, I finally settled on My Life as a Stuntboy.
To round out the day, we decided to see a movie. Unfortunately the movie line was too long for us to make The Adventures of Tintin. Instead we saw Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked. It was okay.
